A reactive hierarchical blockchain structure, system and methodology for Global Trade Management (GTM) that is powered by a complete suite of GTM applications and multi-national content. The tiered computer-implemented system and method allow building distributed GTM blockchains without being overwhelmed by multiplications of enormous global content and extensive calculations, performed on multiple blockchain nodes. The GTM blockchains can be either standalone or they can feed information into multiple International Supply Chain (ISC) blockchains. GTM-specific smart contracts are segregated among appropriate childchains and verified by integrated GTM applications executed on the permissioned nodes. Various embodiments can store, analyze, and track GTM endorsements and events that help to coordinate and maintain service partners contractual obligations and their performance.
