QuestaWeb has long recognized the advantages that foreign trade zones (FTZs) offer U.S. companies. FTZs help reduce taxes and duties, facilitate customs clearance of goods and lessen the administrative burden trade compliance often creates. QuestaWeb developed advanced global trade management software designed specifically for foreign trade zone operation and management. And, QuestaWeb makes this solution available as an integrated software application.
In November 2015, Bolloré Logistics, a global leader in international transport and logistics, opened its first U.S. foreign trade zone in Florida near Miami’s port and airport. The 35,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art facility features over 2,000 pallets of standard and hazmat storage. It also offers added warehousing services like pick and pack, kitting and labeling.
Notably, Bolloré Logistics selected QuestaWeb as its FTZ software solution provider. QuestaWeb’s software operates in tandem with Bolloré Logistics’ own global Warehouse Management System, branded SQUARE. According to Bolloré, the software combination has “improved organization, speed, and tracing and tracking of clients’ cargo in and out of the Miami center.”
Bolloré recently published a blog about its new FTZ. Read all about the FTZ – and the QuestaWeb software that helps power it – here.
